Join us as we showcase our meticulous ceiling tile and extraction system clean at a Surrey college, highlighting our commitment to quality.

At KDC Food Hygiene Ltd, we’re committed to delivering top-notch cleaning services throughout the UK. Our latest challenge brought us to a college in Surrey. We were tasked with giving the Heyadal ceiling tiles and extraction system a thorough clean. It wasn’t just a routine job—this one had its complexities.

Double-Skinned Tiles: A Unique Challenge

The ceiling tiles in this college weren’t your average tiles. Each one was double-skinned, which required us to carefully separate, clean, and reassemble every tile. It wasn’t enough just to wipe the surface. We needed to get into every layer and ensure it was spotless. This doubled our work. But we were ready for it.

Navigating Around Supports

Adding to the challenge was the client’s request to keep the supports in place. Normally, you’d take them down to do a thorough clean. But in this case, we had to work around them. We made sure to clean everything without disturbing the structure. The result? A spotless ceiling that remained intact.

The Right Tools for the Job

We brought in a mobile scaffold tower to help us reach every part of the ceiling and the extraction system. It allowed us to work with precision. The tower gave us the stability and height we needed. With it, we could clean thoroughly without compromising the ceiling’s integrity. The extraction system, including the duct and fan units, received the same meticulous attention. It was restored to full efficiency, ensuring a cleaner environment within the college.

Client Satisfaction

Our careful approach paid off. The client was particularly pleased, especially since the last company they hired had left the tiles uneven and buckled. We made sure that every tile was replaced perfectly. The result was a neat, uniform appearance. It was a job well done.
